New Addition

I’ve been ignoring my blog posts for good reason. We’ve added a new baby girl to our family.
Poppy Ann was born two weeks ago. I’ll be back online soon.
Thanks,
Liz

It may not be a wall tapestry, but it’s a great gift for a baby or friend and it’s very eco-friendly!
I read about Sweet Felt Goods today in the Cottage Living magazine. I was waiting at the doctor’s office for my 38 week appointment. 2 weeks until baby #2 arrives!
With that said, Sweet Felt Goods, founded by Caroline Unruh, is described as, ” good for the environment-made from recycled 100% wool sweaters.”
Wool from old sweaters is shrunk in hot water and felted together making new blankets and throws. Some are are bordered in blanket stitch with homegrown Rhode Island yarn.
The recycled sweaters make for a memorable and functional gift as the blankets can be customized with your own sweater inserts and washable.
Neat find!
